It is within this framework that the Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS) takes part, along with the African Trans-boundary Basin Organizations, in the training on "Water Governance and International Water Law (IWL) for improved trans-boundary water investment in Africa ", from November 11 to 14, 2019, in Entebbé (Uganda).

This training, organized by the Global Water Partnership (with the contribution of several other regional and international partners), aims to provide the participants with the legal tools necessary to understand and assimilate the legal principles and standards that govern the use, sharing, management and protection of trans-boundary freshwater resources, in particular rivers, lakes and Aquifers.
