On June 13, 2018, an OSS delegation visited the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire in Tunis. On the occasion of this meeting with Ms Kouassi, first Counselor to the Ambassador of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Tunisia, the OSS delegation presented the role of the OSS as a facilitator of the North -South and South-South cooperation, and instrument dedicated to its member countries to meet their needs. Ms Kouassi reiterated her congratulations to the OSS for its work in its area of intervention and expressed the need for Côte d'Ivoire to also benefit from the expertise of the OSS to contribute to the resolution of issues related to Water and Land and capacity building actions.
This meeting follows the OSS Conference on accredited diplomatic missions in Tunisia on the theme "Natural Resources Management in Africa: Challenges and Opportunities" on May 11, 2018 at the African Union Headquarters, on the occasion of the World Day for Africa May 25, 2018 commemorating the creation of the Organization of African Unity on May 25, 1963 in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).
