In the framework of the implementation of the Readiness Libya project financed by the GCF and led by the Sahara and Sahel Observatory on behalf of the Libyan General Authority for the Environment, a three-day workshop started on March 28th, 2019 in Tunis. Four topics were open for discussion: The communication strategy, the establishment of a platform for data exchange and information sharing, the establishment of a non-objection mechanism and the gender integration in the working procedures of the National Designated Authority (NDA).
The members of the Libyan NDA, taking part in this workshop, represent several government departments and structures as well as the private sector and civil society.
