Opening today of the Libya Preparation Workshop for Climate Finance (Readiness Libya), Tunis, November 15, 2019.
This workshop, organized by the Sahara and Sahel Observatory, in partnership with the Libyan Environmental General Authority, aims to encourage Libyan national institutions / entities to get involved in the Accreditation process with the GCF and strengthen partnerships between these institutions, the GCF Secretariat, the GCF National Designated Authority in Libya and the national project holders. The workshop was attended by representatives of the banking sector, the private sector, resource and reference persons operating in Libya.
On this occasion, exchanges of experiences are planned with the Tunisian national entities being accredited, as well as with the national designated authorities of the two countries.
