In the framework of the preparation of Tunisia to climate finance (Readiness-Tunisia), a series of information and awareness-raising workshops is being organized in different regions of Tunisia (Tabarka, Kairouan, Zaghouan, Sfax and Djerba) by the Tunisia-GCF National Designated Authority (NDA), in partnership with the Ministry of Local Affairs and the Environment of Tunisia and the Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS).
The workshops are held from 17 July to 7 August 2018 and aim to disseminate information concerning available opportunities for climate finance in the framework of the Green Climate Fund’s program and strategies for combatting climate change in Tunisia.
The workshops aim also to inform all concerned stakeholders about the GCF climate finance program, namely administrations, private sector, civil society, academics, R&D centers, and professionals.
